Personal experience and production goals summary:
I graduated with my AA in Business and Finance and my husband is a retired Marine.My husband and I both helped my father-in-law with his farm in Vermont with milking cows, processing chickens (we still do this with our own birds), feeding the animals etc. My husband is a medically retired Marine and I homeschool our three boys. Currently we have less than an acre in which we are raising chickens, growing our own fruits and vegetables. We live in Stella NC. We are looking for a small family farm to call our own and hopefully leave to one of our children in the future. We are not looking for a large commercial farm by any means. Something quiet in the western part of our state that we can call our own little homestead.
